  • Delete: Request complete deletion of your account and data by emailing support@doschooling.in with your account details. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
  • Restrict Processing: Request restrictions on how your data is used, subject to legal obligations.
  • Data Portability: Request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format. Schools may request an export of institutional and academic data before deletion for record-keeping purposes.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary:

  • Active Accounts: Data is retained while the account is active.
  • Inactive Accounts: Data associated with inactive accounts is deleted within 90 days unless otherwise requested.
  • Backups: System backups may retain data for up to 6 months for recovery purposes, after which they are securely deleted.
  • Data Export for Schools: Schools may request a full data export before deletion to maintain records, subject to verification.

9. International Data Transfers

  • Data may be stored on servers located in India or other secure regions.
  • By using our services outside India, you consent to the transfer of your data as described in this policy.
  • We ensure all data transfers comply with the DPDP Act 2023 and other applicable regulations, using safeguards like Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
